Toronto director Phil Borg's New Year will be playing at The Royal on Tuesday March 15th (9:15pm), Wednesday March 16th (9:15pm) and Thursday March 17th (7:00pm).
The press release describes it as:
"The random violent murder of a gas station attendant acts as the catalyst for lovers, Jason, a 23-year-old slacker who lives at home and Allison, his girlfriend, to take stock of their lives and relationship. When Allison’s high school sweetheart returns home for the holidays from his tour as a Canadian peacekeeper in the Middle East, he magnifies the unspoken gap that has grown between her and Jason. They all go head-to-head at an unbelievable New Year’s bash full of emotion, egos and really gross humour!"
